Child Pose Stretch Strengthen Spine & Calm Brain

Child pose is simple stretch exercise. It is also known as “Balasana” in Yoga. If you want a back pain relief then child pose is excellent stretch exercise. It gently stretches the ankles, thighs and hips. It strengthen spine. This is excellent relief for neck as well; you immediately calm the brain and stress. The steps are simple as follows. Take a deep breath.

1.       Kneel on the floor, Sit on your heals with big toes together. Keep in mind space between the knees should be same as your hips.
2.       Exhale and lay downward on your thighs.
3.       Make sure hips tightly bond with heals and your head at the floor (try spine straight - neck to end).
4.       Lay your hands on the floor towards foot.
5.       You can feel the upper body weight on your shoulders.
6.       Hold that position at least 15-20 seconds.
7.       Then come back to normal position and relax.
8.       Repeat this exercise at least 3 times.

4.       Lay your hands on the floor straight towards head against body.
5.       You can feel the upper body weight on your shoulders.
6.       Hold that position at least 15-20 seconds.
7.       Then come back to normal position and relax.
8.       Repeat this exercise at least 3 times.
